Why should I present my work to CReD?
It is a great opportunity to present and discuss your research with the CIDDA community.
Additionally, we have the following prize categories:
Poster awards
- Best poster
- Runner up
- People choice
Social event prizes
- Social games
* Poster awards are for students only
Who can present their work in CReD?
All CIDDA student, postdoc, or academic members are encouraged to participate by providing a poster to display their research.
Does the poster have to be new?
The poster can be new ongoing research or recently (2021-2022) accepted/presented for a conference or any other showcase. The poster must describe the topics of interest/expertise you would like to share with others.
As part of CIDDA, you can access feedback and new ideas from people that may be interested in your work or from people working in other (related) research areas.
What is the format to present my poster?
There is no specific template for posters. However, please consider the following guidelines for your submission:
- Authors names: include author(s) name(s) and author(s) affiliation(s).
- Poster size: a standard A0 (841 x 1189 mm) portrait orientation format
- Format: PDF
- Logo: CIDDA, RMIT
Use high-quality converters and make sure you set the paper size as specified above. You can refer to some of the previous winning posters:
- CReD'21: [Best Poster] [Runner-up ] [Honorable Mention] [People's Choice]
- CReD'20: [Best Poster]
- CReD'19: [Best Poster]
Please note that while most of the winning posters are in landscape orientation, posters are preferred to be in portrait orientation this year for space limitations.
When and where should I submit my poster?
Please submit your files here with the following information:
- Name of the presenter
- Theme: CIDDA’s research theme
- The topic of the research
Submissions will be accepted until Sunday, 20 November 2022, 11:59 pm. Early submission is highly encouraged.
Please note that at least one of the authors should attend the poster session with their printed posters and present the work to be eligible for the awards.
Can I attend the event without submitting a poster?
Of course! The idea is that students can interact with the CIDDA community and participate in all the activities. You could attend and discuss ideas with other student researchers or staff. Here you have a Registration Form in Eventbrite
